Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Archi Studio Limited ("we", "us", "our"), an architectural consultancy registered in New Zealand with its studio at 10a/43 High Street, Auckland CBD. For any privacy enquiries you can contact us at chang@asad.co.nz or on 021 196 6996.
2. Information we collect
We collect the personal information you voluntarily provide through the contact form on this site — your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and the content of your message. We also collect standard server and hosting logs (IP address, user agent, referrer) which help us keep the site secure and reliable.
3. How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project, provide the services you request, and keep a record of communications for the duration of our engagement. We do not sell or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Storage and security
Enquiry data is stored in a managed cloud database with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access restricted to authorised staff. We keep your enquiry for as long as it is reasonably needed to serve you and satisfy legal obligations — typically no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless a live engagement requires it.
5. Sharing
We only share personal information with third parties where necessary to deliver a project you have engaged us for (for example, engineers or council consenting authorities), where required by law, or with your explicit consent. Our hosting, email and database providers act as data processors on our behalf and are bound to protect your information.
6. Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of anything inaccurate, and request that we delete it where we are no longer required to keep it. To exercise any of these rights email chang@asad.co.nz. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
7. Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Essential cookies may be set by our hosting provider to keep the site secure and functional. If we introduce analytics in future we will update this policy and, where required, provide a consent choice.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
